No. Treatment at Shalom Rehab is individualised with informed consent. This means we will not do anything you're not comfortable with. Treatment may include adjustments, dry needling, exercise therapy, soft tissue therapy. Short and long term plans are also considered very important aspects of treatment and will be provided (this will be realistic and managable, considering your unique circumstances).

Shalom Rehab is set up to have real conversation. Time will be taken where you can explain your story. This is vital to get the best understanding for how we can help. There will also be a physical assessment to examine your movements.

Your practitioner will then provide you with a working diagnosis.

A personalised plan for your goals will finally be provided before, or after treatment. This will be done through shared decision making.

This will depend on a few factors, as each patient will have different goals.

We may focus on aches and pains that you present with, and most time may be spent with hands-on therapy.

Other times, especially as you improve, more time may be spent going through exercises/movements to build confidence and resilience, until you're ready to do more without us.
